Educational Initiatives

Community Music Education Initiative

Starting in the spring of 2019, we are thrilled to be collaborating with Roll Hill Elementary School, a Cincinnati Public School, to introduce their students to the world of art song!

Led by instructor Maya Stockman, students in grades 3-6 had the opportunity to learn about the genre of art song and then put their knowledge to action by creating and performing their own art songs!

We look forward to continuing this great partnership!

Roll Hill Elementary School: “A Turn-Around School, with College Bound Students”

This is your school: a community learning center (CLC). It belongs to every student, every parent, and every faculty member. Our goal is to create and promote an academically challenging program that fosters each student's social development. Our vision and mission is to provide educational excellence for all.

The ultimate mission of the staff, the Local School Decision Making Committee, Instructional Leadership Team and the Parent Teacher Association is to make Roll Hill the best school in the community through maintaining a student-oriented environment.

Want to help us continue work like this?

We are passionate about sharing our love of song, storytelling, and communicative performances. We have given masterclasses and conducted educational outreach events at middle schools, high schools, community music programs, and universities in Ohio, New York, and Connecticut.
