Lynx Project is presenting an Autism Advocacy Project concert in Rockaway Beach, Queens, in collaboration with Rockaway Beach Autism Families and Rockaway Artist’s Alliance. This program will include songs from the 2017 and 2018 projects, and will be performed by several of Lynx’s core members.

Tangled Webs

Tangled Webs is back and is coming to Chicago! Tangled Webs dramatizes the historical love triangle between Percy Shelly (poet), Mary Shelly (author of Frankenstein), and Percy’s first wife, Harriet. Weaving together songs from different composers, styles, and languages, these three characters recount the dramatic love story of the young Shellys.

World Premiere of Autism Advocacy Project 2018-19

Join us for the world-premiere of the 2018-19 Autism Advocacy Project! 
The Autism Advocacy Project takes words from individuals who have autism and are nonverbal, and commissions composers to set their words to music for voice and piano. Lynx Project’s singers and pianists then present these songs in concert! 

This concert is open to EVERYONE. Come as you are and enjoy beautiful music. We will have a sensory-relief space available for anyone who needs to come and go from the concert hall. Our atmosphere is welcoming of everyone.  The concert will be followed by a dessert reception.

Snapshots of Every Voice

How will YOU speak into the world today?

Lynx Project presents our first-ever concert in our new hometown of Chicago, IL! As part of our Snapshots of Every Voice series, we have asked seven local artists to each program a set of songs that represent them as artists and the message they hope to share through their music. Join us for an unforgettable and intimate evening of song at one of Chicago’s most beautiful recital venues!

Composers featured will include Franz Schubert, Enrique Granados, Lili Boulanger, Alma Mahler, Amy Beach, Juliana Hall, Pyotr Tchaikovsky, Emily Cooley, and more. You will also get to experience Korean art song, and there will be a world premiere by local composer Ben Krause!

Behind the Scenes Autism Advocacy Project Workshop Performance

Join us at Liberty Center for this special event. Composers and performers will present the works they have spent the past few days rehearsing and tweaking in a special preview performance. The event will also include a post-concert reception and the opportunity to get to know our wonderful musicians and learn more about the composition and rehearsal process!
